
Mother Kathy L. Kenoly (Washington) was baptized in Stockton California in 1964, by Reverend Dr. Henry Dean, Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Kathy was actually baptized at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on E Street in Stockton because her home church, Emmanuel, was under construction at the time. She served her church in youth auxiliaries, choirs, usher and special events until graduation and her marriage to Wyatt Kenoly in 1970. Mrs. Kenoly joined with the Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank, New Jersey and received training in Christian Education through the National Baptist Convention. Mrs. Kenoly worked in Christian Education in the Children’s, Teen and Women’s and Adult Sunday School Department under the leadership of Pastor Dwight Christ Northington from 1993 through 2001. From 2004 through 2012 Rev. Wyatt Kenoly and Mrs. Kathy Kenoly Ministered as Assistant Pastor and wife alongside Pastor Ronald Pate at Second Baptist Church in Stockton, California. Mother Kenoly focused on women’s ministry, Sunday School teacher training and evangelism. In 2010 until after the passing of her beloved spouse Wyatt (2013) Sister Kenoly ministered in Women’s Bible Studies at Greater Friendship Church in Stockton.
In 2015 Mother Kenoly moved to Arizona and affiliated with Christian Pavilion Church in Phoenix Arizona and has been appointed Church Mother by Superintendent James P. Weaver. As Church Mother she served as Assistant Sunday School Superintendent and on the Board of Directors Christian Pavilion Church, Phoenix, AZ – 2016. She currently serves as Sunday School Teacher at Mission Church under the direction of Dr. Terry Marks at Mission Church in Guadalupe, AZ.
In addition, Mother Kenoly has served or is serving in volunteer positions as follows:
Served on the board of the Frederick Douglas Foundation of California – 2015
Served as a citizen member of “Friends of the Fair Oaks Library” Stockton, CA – 2015 Served as one of 1200 International Children’s Ambassadors by the World Vision Organization – 2014-2015.
Served on the Teaching Staff of Greater Friendship Baptist Church, Stockton, CA Children’s Ministry – 2010-2015
2004 assisted in the creation of “Community First” a non-profit organization providing low-income individuals in San Joaquin County with health care, food donations
Served on first Federal Revenue Sharing Board for Sacramento County (1979-1980).
Education
Mother Kenoly is currently attending Liberty University to receive her BS Christian Counseling in 2020.
